Adoptable Animal of the Week: Bodhi

Ahoy, readers, and welcome to another adoptable animal spotlight where we feature an animal looking for a furever home in one of San Francisco’s animal shelters. Today we showcase Bodhi, a devilishly handsome hound dog from SF’s own Animal Care & Control.

Bodhi strikes a rare serious pose

Bodhi is a dashing Plott hound mix who is very mature and docile for his age. Found as a stray wandering the city, Bodhi is only 10-months-old. However, he already knows commands like “sit,” he walks well on the leash, and he is as gentle and docile as any adult dog.

Almost as striking as Bodhi’s easygoing nature are his looks! He sports a beautiful orange and brown coat with hazel eyes to match.

Bodhi’s short list of favorite things includes leaning, affectionate headbutts, and most of all: belly rubs!

Between his attitude and his good looks, Bodhi will make a fantastic addition to a lucky family’s home.
