Adoptable Animal of the Week: Bridgette

Ahoy there, readers! This week’s adoptable shelter animal is Bridgette, a 10-year-old Pitbull mix who hails from the San Francisco SPCA.

Bridgette 2eDon’t be fooled by her photo: Bridgette is one of the happiest doggos you will ever meet. She only looks sad because she is so eager to get back to cuddling and doing tricks. Bridgette is a gentle giant who is just as happy to go for a walk as she is to sit on the couch.

Have you heard the expression “you can’t teach an old dog new tricks?” Well, Bridgette is a testament to how wrong that phrase is. She’s learning new tricks all the time, like sit and shake! And she is ready and willing to learn more.

Bridgette Corn

Her greatest talent, however, is her knack for great outfits. Bridgette has been known to dress up as an ear of corn, a T-Rex, and even a manatee! And that’s when her winning smile truly shines.

Want to add the lovely Bridgette to your family? Visit the San Francisco SPCA or go to their website (here). Check out Bridgette’s Facebook debut in the video below, and I will see you next week for another edition of Waggle’s adoptable animals.
