Adoptable Animals of the Week: Cat Benatar & Sonny

Ahoy, Wagglers. Coming from the shelters today are two sweet and soulful animals looking for their furever homes.

Cat Benatar, from the SF SPCA

Cat Benatar, from the SF SPCA

The first spotlight falls on Cat Benatar, a 4-year-old cat from San Francisco’s SPCA. Cat is a big, fluffy cat in the prime of her life. She loves to play (or not), have a snack (or not), and snuggle up (or not). Basically, she is a typical cat whose favorite activity is resting on her perch but intermittently descending to mingle with the Human Bean peasants. She is very kind and generous like that.

Cat Benatar’s roommates–a litter of delightful kittens: Penley, Pippin, & Prunella–are also up for adoption at the SPCA. You can help the SPCA prepare for kitten season by donating a gift on their Amazon wishlist here!

Sonny, from SF Animal Care & Control

Next up is soulful and patient Sonny. He may look like an intimidating, strapping brute, but Sonny is anything but. He prefers to take things slow, easy, and quietly, making sure to take in his surroundings before giving gentle kisses. Sonny doles out his affection carefully, but he wins over hearts easily.

Sonny is up for adoption at San Francisco’s Animal Care & Control.
