Waggle is intended for users to create and share original videos of their pets and animal friends and to enter contests with media of their pets and animals on the Waggle platform.

Eligibility for any contest on the Waggle platforms (including but not limited to the Waggle website, its social channels and its mobile applications) is FREE to enter and open to all individuals world-wide except where prohibited by applicable law, who are eighteen (18) years of age or older. The employees, officers and directors of the contest sponsor and/or of Waggle Ventures Inc., as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and household members of such employees, officer, and director are not eligible to win, though they are permitted to upload and add their videos to contests. In the event that any prohibited class as defined above does achieve the most upvotes for a contest, the contest winner will be awarded to the next eligible entrant.
2. Void where prohibited:
Any contest is void outside the Region(s) specified, or in any country embargoed by the United States, and where otherwise prohibited by applicable federal, state, provincial or local laws, rules or regulations.
3. Agreement to Official Rules:
By uploading video to the Waggle platform, the entrant fully and unconditionally agrees to and accepts these Official Rules and the decisions of Waggle Ventures Inc., which are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest. Whether or not the entrant receives a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth in these Official Rules.
Contest submissions begin on the date announced on the Waggle platform for the specific contest at 12:00 AM Eastern time of that declared day and end at 11:59 PM Eastern Time of the declared end day. Waggle Ventures Inc. is the official time keeping device for each Contest. Winner will be notified on or about the day after the official end of each Contest and Winner will be announced once Winner has been informed and as soon as Winner confirms eligibility.
6. How to Enter:
- Create a video of your pet or an animal on any device. The submitted video MUST BE of a living animal, excluding human beings.
- You must own all rights to the video you create and be legally able to share and submit it for broadcast and display on any platform or through any form of media globally.
- If you have not already registered with Waggle, you will be required to register to create a Waggle account.
- Follow the instructions to upload a movie about your pet or animal on the Waggle Website.
- Submit your movie including a description of the video.
- To be eligible, entrant must:
- Register a Waggle account
- Submit their video as instructed
- Comply with Waggle’s Terms of Service
- Comply with the official rules of the contest as listed herein
- There is no limit on the number of entries that can be submitted by each entrant, but each entrant can claim only one prize per contest
- Waggle is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, or misdirected Submissions
- Potential winners may be required to show proof of being the authorized Waggle account holder.
7. Selection of Winner
The winner shall be decided by total number of thumbs up votes (up votes) in the video contest. Multiple winners may be selected depending on the specific details of each contest. In the event of a tie, the prize shall be distributed equally between the two Winners. Waggle reserves the right to invalidate and overrule any voting total in the case of fraud, system gaming, or other vote manipulation practice as decided by Waggle.
Prizes shall be allocated as they are defined in the nature of each individual contest. For purposes of prize delivery, Waggle shall make all reasonable efforts to pay via bank check and costs of postage where in excess of standard legal envelope shall be deducted from the contest prize where applicable.
9. License to Sponsors and Partners:
Uploading a submission constitutes entrant’s consent to give Waggle a royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, create derivative works from, and display such Submissions in whole or in part, on a global basis, and to incorporate it into other works, in any form, media or technology now known or later developed, including for promotional or marketing purposes.
If you are selected as a Winner, you will be notified of the selection of your Entry by the email address associated with your Waggle account. If you do not respond to the email notification of your selection as a Winner within three (3) days, an alternate Winner will be selected to receive the Prize. All decisions of Waggle in selecting the Winner is final and binding on all Entrants and shall reflect the vote totals of the video in the specific contest. Limit: one prize per entrant.
11. Prize Redemption:
Except where prohibited, a Winner shall be required to respond to the Waggle notification email within three (3) days confirming that they comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules. Winning is contingent upon filling all requirements. Acceptance of any prize shall constitute and signify a winner’s agreement and consent that Waggle may use the winner’s name, city, state, likeness, Submission and/or prize information worldwide, including the Internet, without limitation and without further payment or consideration except where prohibited by law. Without limiting the generality of the Official Rules, winner shall irrevocably grant, transfer, convey and assign to Waggle the rights in and to the Submission including, without limitation, the rights to use the Submission for any and all purposes in any and all media whether now known or hereafter developed, on a worldwide basis, in perpetuity. Winner accepts and acknowledges that Waggle shall not be obligated to use the Submission and that Waggle in their sole discretion shall have the right to refrain from using the Submission. Waggle shall not incur any liability whatsoever to the extent Waggle chooses to refrain from any exploitation of their rights hereunder. Winner will indemnify Waggle, Released Parties (as defined below) and any licensee of the Sponsor against all claims, damages, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable counsel fees and legal expenses) arising out of any breach of these terms.
By submitting an entry, you agree that the released parties will have no liability whatsoever for, and will be released and held harmless by you and your heirs, executors, representatives, successors and assigns for any claims, liabilities, or causes of action of any kind or nature for any injury, loss or damages of any kind, including direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages to persons, including, without limitation, disability or death, and damage to property, due in whole or in part, arising directly or indirectly, now or in the future from the delivery, acceptance, use or misuse of the prize, any and all use as provided herein of your entry, or participation in this contest and/or any related contest. Without limiting the foregoing, everything on the site and any contest site is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
13. Limitations of Liability:
The Released Parties are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrant, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Promotion; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries; (5) late, lost, undeliverable, damaged or stolen mail; or (6) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Promotion or receipt or use or misuse of any prize. The Sponsors are not responsible for misdirected or undeliverable entries or for any technical problems, malfunctions of computer systems, servers, providers, hardware/software, lost or unavailable network connections or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmission or any combination thereof. The Sponsors are not responsible for any typographical/other error in entries, selection announcement or for any liability for damage to any computer system resulting from participation in, accessing or downloading information in connection with this Promotion. If for any reason an entrant’s Submission is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, entrant’s sole remedy is another Submission. No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded.
Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Promotion or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the Federal or State courts located in The City of New York; (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Promotion, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (3) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules or the rights and obligations of the entrant and the Sponsors in connection with the Promotion, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of New York without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of New York or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of New York.
